The Browns are coming off a 7-10 record and will look to make the playoffs for the first time since 2020. With Watson and new defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, the team has a shot at winning the AFC North.

Schwartz comes in with 14 years of experience as a defensive coordinator and five years as a head coach with a long track record of success. Schwartz previously served as head coach of the Detroit Lions and defensive coordinator for the Titans and the Philadelphia Eagles.

One other important piece the team has is all-pro running back Nick Chubb. He's made four straight pro bowls and was the Browns offense last season, playing in all 17 games and compiling 1,525 rushing yards. It marked the most of his career and the fourth straight season he has rushed for over 1,00 yards.

Cleveland has four of its five first games at home and then has a bye week after the fourth game. That should be a huge edge for the Browns, especially since they play all AFC North opponents during that stretch. They start with the Bengals, then move to Pittsburgh, which is their only away game. Then they finish up with Baltimore at home.
